Etalle
The village of Etalle owes its existence and its layout to the Roman road between Reims and Trier.

The archaeological site of Montauban-Buzenol is an old Gallo-Roman refuge measuring 4 hectares. In 1958, after several seasons' digging, archaeologists found an imposing wall made up of 43 blocks of Gallo-Roman sculptures,
one of which drew attention world-wide. This was the representation of a harvester from the Treviri tribe, mentioned by historians Pliny and Palladius
.
