Herbeumont is a picturesque Ardennes village with every kind of tourist accommodation (hotels of every category, campsites, holiday village...).
The ruins of its fortress stand on a wooded hill above the village, with a tower overlooking the magnificent wooded landscape and the meandering Semois.

Herbeumont is also the ideal starting-point for walks to the Tombeau du Chevalier, the Rocher du Chat (les Epioux), and the Roche aux Corbeaux. There are more than 80 km of sign-posted walks. In winter, you can go cross-country skiing here.

From the place known as "L'homme mort" - the Dead Man - there's a remarkable view of the winding river.

A pretty hamlet consisting of a few farms and a dozen prettily decorated houses.
